Morpheus8; the latest anti-aging, contouring treatment!

This month, we’re welcoming the Morpheus8 treatment to Rebecca Jade. You may be thinking that this just sounds like a new Harry Potter wand, but no – this is a real thing and it’s a force to be reckoned with (one Harry Potter pun too many?)

There are a huge number of anti-aging treatments on the market that claim to take years off your appearance. With thousands of brands encouraging you to invest in their rejuvenating, youth-inducing products, it can be too overwhelming to even begin looking, with no idea where you should actually put your money.

So, we’re introducing the Morpehus8 – let’s dive into what our new treatment can offer!

What is the Morpheus8?

The Morpheus8 treatment works to deliver anti-aging benefits through its face and body contouring abilities, alongside its capacity for boosting collagen-production. This multifaceted treatment works within deeper skin tissues to combat major skin concerns and has been clinically proven to improve the appearance of the skin, offering a more contoured, slimmer appearance of the face and body.

The Morpheus8 is a device that penetrates deep into the skin tissues and fat cells. The device can therefore mold fat within the face or body to provide a slimmer, sleeker, more contoured appearance.

This treatment does not only provide slimming benefits. Its Radiofrequency feature works to improve skin laxity, texture and suppleness. Collagen production is stimulated, which is responsible for the youthfulness of skin. When the skin lacks collagen, it can appear dull, dry and aged. Using this treatment to boost collagen will encourage the skin to appear smoother, more youthful and hydrated.

What can it treat?

Whilst the Morpheus8 treatment is marketed towards anti-ageing, it’s sole purpose is not only to combat lines and wrinkles. Although it does this through its Radiofrequency and Microneedling features, its ability to lift and contour the face provides rejuvenation in more ways than one.

The device can target deeper layers of skin tissue to encourage the rejuvenation and production of new, youthful skin cells, improving skin texture whilst tightening up any loose or sagging skin.

The machine can also penetrate and move fat beneath the skin to appear slimmer and more contoured, combatting concerns such as double chins and drooping jowls.

What does the treatment look like?

Although this treatment is penetrative, it doesn’t mean you have to sit there for hours on end to see results. This treatment lasts 30-60 minutes with minimal downtime. Your skin may be slightly red and swollen for 1-3 days post treatment, but these side effects will shortly subside. Numbing cream is also applied to the skin to avoid any discomfort, with the treatment beginning shortly after. The Morpheus8 device is then moved slowly around the treatment area, with its Microneedling pins penetrating the tissues and working its magic!

When will I see results?

Results may be visible after just one session, however more noticeable results will show after approximately 3 weeks. The treatment encourages elastin and collagen production, which will result in tighter, glowing and more youthful looking skin from 1-3 weeks post treatment. You will continue to see results as time continues.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your skin concerns and skin type, however we recommend at least a course of 3 to see the most effective results.
